WELDING PRACTICE TIMES
- Practice times – Monday through Friday, 7 am – 3 pm, 52 weeks a years
- An Instructor is at the school each day provided for welding instruction or to answer any questions
- All Journeymen and Apprentices must sign in, and track the time they are in the school. Tracking the number of hours they attended that day on the sign in sheet.
The instructor provides help to the members with welding procedures; Instructs on correction and technique; Supervises members welding practice; Answers any question the member has; Prepares the members to weld test or re-certify as needed.
Once a member is ready, they may schedule a welding test with one of the Training Center CWI’s. We have 3 Certified Welding Inspectors on site.
Approximately 4 times each year, the Training Center, will offer a group weld test. Local contractor’s CWIs are invited to this test, so they can approve of a welder for their company.

CONSTRUCTION SITE SAFETY CERTIFICATE PROGRAM/OSHA GRANT CLASS
This course is 8 separate safety classes that run for 8 hours each day (once a week). The following classes are included :
